Quick Answer
Annihilation Awaits is a Behemoth-related PvE activity with multiple documented formats. Check the event subtitle before following a schedule: MK I, MK II and Twisted Evolution do not share every opening time or daily attempt rule.
Complete available daily tasks, claim their rewards, donate the matching inhibitors and coordinate boss attacks with your alliance. Read highest single damage and total damage as different objectives. Several modest hits can satisfy a cumulative goal while leaving a single-hit goal unfinished.
Identify the Format First
These are documented format differences, not a promise that all three editions are available in your state today.
| Documented format | Published attack windows in UTC | Published base daily attempts |
|---|---|---|
| MK I | Two-hour windows starting at 01:00, 12:00 and 18:00 | Five |
| MK II | 01:00–04:00, 10:00–13:00 and 18:00–21:00 | Two |
| Twisted Evolution | Three-hour windows starting at 01:00, 10:00 and 18:00 | Five, with additional attempts through alliance inhibition |
Those format references describe three-day runs. Older introductory versions also document a different duration. Follow your current event's countdown and rules if they differ from this table. In particular, do not plan five base attacks from a guide when your MK II panel grants two.
Copy the actual opening time into the alliance plan in server time, with a local-time conversion if needed. UTC itself does not move for daylight saving changes; members' local clocks can.
Prepare Before Using Attempts
Use this checklist when the event opens:
- Record the edition name, open windows and daily reset.
- Inspect remaining attempts and whether the rules describe replenishment or a reset.
- Read the daily task list and claim any already completed tasks.
- Check the alliance's Genetic Inhibition level and donation requirements.
- Identify the intended boss and rally leaders for your available window.
- Prepare the relevant march before committing an attempt.
The published MK II and Twisted Evolution task resets occur at 00:00 UTC. Plan around the actual timer shown. Do not count on unused attempts accumulating indefinitely; “resets to” and “adds” imply different results.
Inhibitors and Alliance Genetic Inhibition
Event tasks can award inhibitors, which members donate toward Alliance Genetic Inhibition. That progress improves event performance and, in formats that list it, unlocks additional daily opportunities to attack.
The coordination decision is when to donate and when to use the attacks. If several members can finish easy tasks before a shared rally session, their donations may improve the alliance's conditions for those attacks. Waiting so long for a perfect inhibition level that members miss the final window has the opposite effect.
Set an achievable donation deadline before the main session. Members who cannot attend later should complete their usable attempts within an available window. Do not assume an inhibitor from another seasonal event feeds the current event just because its icon looks familiar.
The daily routine checklist can absorb these short tasks without turning every event day into an unplanned login schedule.
Single-Hit Damage and Total Damage
Suppose your current task asks for a highest hit of 100,000 and another asks for 400,000 total damage. Four hits of 90,000 produce 360,000 total, while the highest hit remains 90,000. A fifth hit of the same size would pass the total target but still fail the highest-hit target. These are illustrative scoring numbers, not a universal task list.
For a highest-hit problem, improve the next individual march or join the appropriate coordinated rally. For a total-damage problem, use available attempts consistently. Check which score the solo ranking, alliance ranking and daily task each use; the largest number on the screen may belong to a different objective.
After one attack, inspect the report and task progress. If the task did not advance, verify the target and participation requirement before spending the remaining attempts the same way.
Rallies, Heroes and Troops
Coordinate with a leader whose relevant bonuses and formation fit the current boss. Joining a rally and leading one are different jobs; copy neither role blindly from a screenshot. Use the rally leader and joiner guide to check which bonuses your position contributes.
Do not assume that a formation optimized for Influencer Trap is automatically the best Annihilation lineup. The boss, available heroes and current event effects can change what works. Compare damage reports with the same leader and similar conditions before calling a hero swap an improvement.
In documented editions, boss marches arrive within 60 seconds regardless of distance. That does not eliminate rally formation time or a closing attack window. Start with enough time for the actual sequence displayed in your game.
Twisted Evolution's Boss Sequence
In the documented Twisted Evolution format, the Devourer appears near the central Wilderness. Defeating it advances the sequence to the Berserker, while damage contributes to the event's reward competition. The same event also uses Plague Zones for its material activity.
Check the currently available target before sending a saved march. A formation preset does not verify that the boss associated with your remaining task is still the active one. Use the Plague Zone guide for the separate strike-team activity instead of confusing a zone clear with a boss attempt.
Rewards and Spending Limits
Claim task and activity rewards before the event's own claim deadline. Decide whether the next reachable reward justifies the required Behemoth upgrade or material spend. A task asking for power growth does not make every available upgrade efficient.
For free players, reliable participation and collective inhibitor donations are the starting point. If spending, define the reward or permanent progression step you are buying toward before comparing packs. A higher leaderboard score without a reachable reward boundary may return little additional value.
FAQ
Why does my Annihilation Awaits show only two daily attempts? The documented MK II format uses two base daily attempts. Other editions use different rules, so check the subtitle and current attempt panel.
When should we donate inhibitors? Coordinate donations before the main attack session where practical, while leaving enough time for members to use their available attempts.
Why did several attacks not complete my highest-damage task? A highest single-damage task measures one attack. Adding several smaller hits only helps a cumulative damage objective.
Is the Influencer Trap formation guaranteed to be best here? No. Check the boss conditions and compare reports for your available heroes and rally role.
Are the boss times the same in every version? No. Documented formats differ in start times, window length and attempts. Use the current event panel for your run.
Key Takeaways
- Identify the edition before planning windows or attempt counts.
- Coordinate inhibition progress without missing usable attack windows.
- Diagnose single-hit and cumulative goals separately, then spend toward reachable rewards.
