What does the Governor do in State of Survival?

The Governor holds the state capital and deploys state-wide buffs from the mansion, as well as granting titles to individual players. The role changes hands through state-level conflict.

How often can state buffs be used?

Each carries roughly a seven-day cooldown after deployment. That is why timing them onto SvS preparation and major events matters so much.

Do state buffs apply to upgrades I already started?

No. Buffs and titles boost work you begin after they are active. An upgrade already running finishes on its original timer.

How do I get a title?

Ask. Most states run a request channel in state chat, and most players never use it. Request the title before you start the work you want boosted.

When should buffs be fired?

Inside scoring windows such as SvS preparation, Survival of the Fittest, Power Sprint, Battle Power Up, and construction or research phases, so the bonus earns event points as well as its own benefit.

Can the Governor undo a buff?

No. Deployment is final, and the cooldown starts immediately. A misfired buff costs the state a week.

Does the Governor matter when choosing a state to transfer to?

It is a real factor alongside alliance quality and state age. Ask in state chat when the next buff window is; a state that can answer has organised leadership.

Are titles permanent?

Usually temporary and intended to rotate through the state. How reliably that happens varies entirely by state.
