Quick Answer

MIGO is a seasonal system with linked tasks, Station upgrades and stores. Keep MIGO Info, Glory and Station materials separate: earning one does not automatically give you a balance of the others.

This walkthrough covers the documented MIGO Strikes Back format. It gives a usable explanation of that edition, not a claim that its 2021 season dates or every upgrade rule are active in all states today. If your banner names a different world event, use that event's calendar and currency descriptions.

Identify the Season Before Following a Plan

MIGO Strikes Back shortened its predecessor's 12-week structure to 10 weeks, with three named stages: MIGO Strikes Back, The Road to Truth and Hope of Redemption. Weekly goals sit within those stages.

That history explains why old MIGO instructions disagree about duration. A screenshot from the beta or another season cannot establish the deadline on your current account.

At the start, record the exact season name, current week, stage end and store closing time. Build or open the season's event building so you can inspect the actual menus. Do not make a ten-week spending plan from a banner that shows a different format.

The Progression Loop

The practical sequence is:

  1. Complete the current eligible daily and weekly activities.
  2. Earn Info toward the applicable goals and ranking.
  3. Claim goal rewards and obtain Station development materials.
  4. Upgrade devices that help the activities you will use.
  5. Spend the correct store currency before its exchange deadline.

Tasks can overlap with ordinary play, but their contribution must be checked in the MIGO panel. Being active in another event does not guarantee that every action there awards MIGO Info.

Keep the Currencies Separate

Item or score Main purpose in Strikes Back Common confusion
MIGO Info Task progress/ranking contribution and Logistics purchases Treating the spendable balance as identical to ranking progress
Glory Weekly-goal and stage-ranking reward; Glory-store purchases Assuming Info directly buys every prestige reward
Station materials Upgrade the Bionic Lab's devices Spending plans based on the wrong component
Item eligibility requirement Unlocks access to a particular store reward Confusing a required earned amount with the item's price

Info can come from eligible Intel, Treasure Quest, SotF, SvS, Throwdown and Underground Shadow Exploration activities. In this format, earned task Info contributes to ranking even before manual claiming; an unclaimed reward is not a method for hiding progress from the leaderboard.

Glory comes through weekly goals and stage rankings, including solo and alliance rankings. The Strikes Back rules did not carry previous MIGO or YITH Glory into the new season. Never assume a same-looking currency automatically survives the transition.

Choose Station Upgrades for a Job

The Strikes Back Station, also called the Bionic Lab, has four floors: Basic, Intermediate, Advanced and Professional. Each floor has four devices with ten levels. Its material set includes Composite Wings, Robotic Arms, Bionic Pincers and Synthetic Webs.

Its benefits cover several different contexts: gathering, Underground Shadow Exploration, Capital-related combat and other listed troop or march bonuses. Some effects are explicitly tied to an activity; a Capital benefit is not automatically an account-wide combat increase.

For each upgrade, inspect:

  • The activity where the benefit works.
  • The next level's actual effect.
  • The required component and any prerequisite.
  • Whether another useful device needs the same scarce component.

For a player focused on daily economy, a usable gathering benefit may give more practical value than a Capital-specific effect they will never activate. An alliance combat organiser may reasonably choose differently. Neither needs to buy every device evenly simply to make the floor look complete.

Instant Gathering and Other Special Effects

The documented Station includes an Instant Gathering effect: when its cooldown is ready, the next qualifying gathering completes when the march reaches the target. Related upgrades can change its cooldown or gathering march speed.

Plan that use around a tile your march can meaningfully gather. Check the remaining tile quantity, load and the skill's eligible conditions before dispatch. An instant collection of a tiny remainder may waste the opportunity you intended for a larger tile.

This is a seasonal Station effect, not permission to apply it to every version of ordinary Chief Talents. Keep the gathering setup and the season's device descriptions side by side.

Logistics Store Versus Glory Store

Logistics uses Info for development materials such as cores, speed-ups and equipment inputs. In Strikes Back, more items become available as stages open. Inspect later-stage availability before spending the entire early balance on materials you already have.

Glory carries skins, decorations and similar rewards, with some items also requiring a specified amount of Glory earned or another condition. Check both the price and the unlock requirement; satisfying only one may leave the purchase unavailable.

Set one useful reward target, calculate its remaining currency gap and compare that with the tasks still achievable. A ranking reward dependent on other players' performance should be treated as uncertain income.

If ordinary cores are the account's blocker, compare a Logistics purchase with your Plasma collection plan. If equipment is the blocker, check the exact missing input before exchanging for a generic-looking crate.

End-of-Season Checklist

The historical Strikes Back store remained available for six days after the event for Info spending. That is an edition-specific grace period, not a guarantee for every MIGO-labelled shop.

Before the visible closing deadline:

  1. Claim finished tasks and inspect any Reward Stash entries.
  2. Check each currency balance separately.
  3. Complete the planned exchanges, including limited stock.
  4. Read the item descriptions for expiry or conversion.
  5. Review which Station benefits or materials continue into the next named season.

Do not assume a later world event preserves the Station or all its benefits merely because a similar building returns. Permanent and seasonal development need different spending plans.

F2P and Spender Tips

F2P: favour goals that fit ordinary Intel and alliance activity. Spend seasonal materials on effects you will use before their relevant window closes. Coordinate Throwdown tasks where the same action genuinely contributes to both systems.

Spenders: calculate the complete reward target, including any earned-Glory eligibility condition. Buying more development materials does not automatically satisfy a rank-based or activity-based unlock.

Common Mistakes

  • Applying beta or predecessor dates to Strikes Back.
  • Treating Info, Glory and device components as one currency.
  • Assuming a mode-specific Station benefit works everywhere.
  • Saving task claims to manipulate ranking progress.
  • Missing the store deadline because the combat stage already ended.

FAQ

How long does MIGO last? The Strikes Back edition uses ten weeks; its predecessor used twelve. Check the named season's actual calendar.

What is the Bionic Lab? It is the Station upgrade structure described in Strikes Back, with device benefits and its own materials.

Can I spend Info on every Glory-store item? No. The stores use different currencies and some rewards have additional eligibility conditions.

Do currencies carry into the next season? Do not assume so. Strikes Back explicitly excluded prior MIGO/YITH Glory, and other formats need their own item rules checked.

Key Takeaways

  • Identify the season before applying its calendar or upgrade table.
  • Track Info, Glory and Station materials separately.
  • Upgrade for activities you use and finish exchanges before the shop closes.
