Build the Center once eligible and follow its initial calibration prompts. In the documented calibration, you stop the moving pointer in a marked zone; after completing the sequence, regular purification becomes available. Read the output preview rather than treating a calibration result as the guaranteed yield of every later attempt.
A Primary Purification Routine
The established daily format gives five chances, with each consuming 10,000 of every basic resource. Using all five requires 50,000 food, 50,000 wood, 50,000 metal and 50,000 gas. Unused daily chances do not accumulate.

Advanced conversion moves through brackets as weekly attempts are used. The next bracket can increase the ordinary-core cost faster than the minimum polymer output increases.

Bonus outputs and progress rewards can improve the realised return, but they do not erase the increased input cost. Compare the next exchange on its own before continuing across a bracket boundary.
Use the Daily Discount Deliberately
The documented advanced format offers one 50% discounted attempt per day. Its value depends on the bracket: a 20-core attempt becomes 10, while a 150-core attempt becomes 75. That does not make the later bracket the better conversion rate; compare cost and minimum output together.
Do not exhaust a weekly allowance early if doing so prevents the remaining daily discounts. Conversely, do not spend hundreds of cores climbing a bracket merely to obtain a larger-looking discount.
For example, if you remain in the first historical bracket, seven daily discounted attempts cost 70 ordinary cores before any other conversions. Write down two balances: ordinary cores reserved for buildings/research and ordinary cores available for conversion. Only the second balance is your purification budget.
Suppose you have 800 ordinary cores, a planned Institute step needs 600, and you reserve another 100 for its next prerequisite. You have at most 100 available for optional conversion. A discounted button is still a cost, even when the polymer reward is useful later.

Some core-use tasks count ordinary cores consumed in Advanced Purification. The correct check is the active task's accepted action and currency. Test one intended exchange and inspect the points before committing a large reserve. Do not assume spending the resulting polymers counts at the same rate.
F2P: use Primary Purification consistently when affordable, and convert toward a named polymer requirement using the discounts your current format offers.
Spenders: compare a material purchase with the full cost of conversion. Buying ordinary cores to force an expensive bracket may be less useful than finishing the building or research those cores were intended for.
